It has been announced that top DJs Steve Aoki and Don Diablo will go head to head in Injustice 2. Steve Aoki is a 2x Grammy Nominated DJ and Producer and Owner of Team Rogue. Don Diablo is a World Wide Top DJ and frequent collaborator with hit artists including Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, and Coldplay. The Celebrity Charity Competition set to take place at Gamescom 2017, on 23 August at 11:00 AM (BST) is a live battle to the death.
With up to five rounds to be played on PlayStation 4, the victor will be the first to win three of the exciting mega matches. Fans worldwide can watch each one blow by blow as the fight is live-streamed on both twitch.tv/twitch and twitch.tv/netherrealm. On site, players can get a ring side seat at the Twitch stage, located in Halle 9, A-052.
In addition to the action, fans of Injustice 2 should tune in to check out the new, exclusive announcement that will take place during the event, revealing the next three Injustice 2 DLC characters that will be released in Fighter Pack #2.
Post-match, fans will be given the opportunity to get a first-hand account of the battle with Steve and Don during a Meet and Greet session.
From the victor’s spoils, there will be a donation of $5,000 to be made to the Aoki Foundation, founded by Steve Aoki with the primary goal of finding advances in brain science through funding research in regenerative medicine and brain preservation. The foundation also supports humanitarian causes dear and near to Steve Aoki such as disaster relief, developmental disabilities, and animal-rights.
It’s always interesting to see innovative ways to bring a spotlight to charities and an enjoyable game of Injustice 2 with these two celebrities should definitely entertain.
