So Ubisoft had their conference and it was filled with a lot of content. From my personal point of view, there were some very cool stuff (I’m excited to see Assassin’s Creed Odyssey) and some not so cool stuff (Just Dance 2019 just go away). So here’s the breakdown of what was announced.

LIVE THE EPIC JOURNEY OF A LEGENDARY GREEK HERO IN ASSASSIN’S CREED ODYSSEY

Ubisoft announced a new instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game will be released worldwide on October 5th, 2018, on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. In addition, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been enhanced with additional features for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro systems. For the last three years, the team at Ubisoft Quebec has been creating an exciting new chapter for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the action takes place in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Playing as Alexios or Kassandra, a mercenary of Spartan blood sentenced to death by their family, players will embark on an epic journey from a young outcast to a legendary hero and uncover the truth about their mysterious lineage.

Ubisoft announced a new chapter in one of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling franchises, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Developed on an updated version of the Snowdrop Engine, the game will be released worldwide on March 15th, 2019, on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PCPlayers can register for beta access now for a chance to play athttp://thedivisiongame.com/beta.

 

BLAST OFF WITH STARLINK: BATTLE FOR ATLAS ON OCTOBER 16th

THE STARLINK INITIATIVE TEAMS UP WITH ACE PILOT AND STAR FOX LEADER FOX MCCLOUD IN FREE EXCLUSIVE NINTENDO SWITCH ADD-ON

Ubisoft announced that Starlink: Battle for Atlas, an all-new action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto, will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X on October 16th, 2018.

Ubisoft announced that Just Dance 2019, the newest instalment of the #1 Music Videogame Franchise Of All Time*, will be available October 23rd, 2018 in North America, October 25th in Europe and October 26th in the UK on most gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Wii U, Wii, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system.

UBISOFT INVITES ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN MAKING THE EPIC WORLD OF BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL 2

Ubisoft announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with HITRECORD, the LA-based creative collaborative platform founded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Beyond Good and Evil 2 senior producer, Guillaume Brunier, appeared together on stage during Ubisoft’s E3 2018 Conference to invite artists of every type and skill to participate in the Space Monkey Program and collaborate on content such as poster designs, radio ads and original music that will appear in the game.

UBISOFT WELCOMES PIRATES TO THE LUSH HUNTING GROUNDS OF SKULL & BONES

Ubisoft showcased Hunting Grounds, the new PvPvE (player-versus player-versus-environment) content for Skull & Bones, its upcoming online naval game set within the vast Indian Ocean. TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX SIEGE EXCEEDS 35 MILLION PLAYER MILESTONE

Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has surpassed 35 Million registered players across all platforms. Released in 2015, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has become one of the most successful multiplayer shooters and continues to evolve in Year 3 with regular content updates as recent as last week’s Operation Para Bellum, the largest content update to date.

 

FOUR NEW HEROES FROM THE FAR EAST ENTER THE BATTLEFIELD IN FOR HONOR MARCHING FIRE, LAUNCHING OCTOBER 16TH

Ubisoft announced Marching Fire, a new update coming to For Honor. Marching Fire introduces the game’s largest post-launch content update and includes the new Wu Lin faction, a new 4v4 PvP mode, unlimited PvE content and more. The update will be available October 16th on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC.

That was a lot of games and you can definitely say Ubisoft cater to everyone because there is at least one game there for a gamer. Was there anything mindblowing? No, but it was decent and they are constants that bring audiences back.
