The Company

Third Editions was founded in 2015 by established authors Mehdi El Kanafi and Nicolas Courcier. Their goal was to analyze major video game sagas and publish large volumes containing as much lore and info as they could fit. To date, in English, they have printed five saga and RPG titles, plus an additional 5 collector’s editions. The team has grown to 25 staff writers, all working at their office in Toulouse.

Prior to Third Editions beginnings, Mehdi and Nicolas both founded publishing firm Console Syndrome. This business was subsequently bought over by a major publisher of video game books, and the pair edited and co-wrote 20 books between them. The teams passion is apparent from looking at their quality of work. the volumes are beautifully detailed, and made to a very high standard. Their analysis is exactly what you’d expect from a gaming expert, with their own flair and love of the titles clearly displayed. Their English translated titles are available on their official website, with the newer titles scheduled for release in October 2018.

About The Author

Brian started gaming on a Commodore 64 before you were born. He played everything worth playing on every platform worth playing them on since then, but refuses to mess with that new fangled VR stuff. Makes him nauseated he says.
