Frontier Developments plc has revealed the first in-game trailer for Planet Zoo and announced the launch date live on stage at E3’s PC Gaming Show.

Coming exclusively to PC, this will be available on Steam in Standard and Deluxe Editions on the 5th of November. Pre-orders are available now.

Simulation Runs Wild in Planet Zoo. From the developers of Jurassic World Evolution (2018), Planet Coaster (2016) and Zoo Tycoon (2013) comes the ultimate zoo sim, featuring authentic living animals who think, feel and explore the world you create around them.

Experience a globe-trotting campaign or let your imagination run wild in the freedom of Sandbox mode. Create unique habitats and vast landscapes, make big decisions and meaningful choices, and nurture your animals as you construct and manage the world’s wildest zoos. Build and manage a truly modern zoo where animal welfare and conservation comes first.

Planet Zoo is available to pre-order now for £34.99 (€44.99, $44.99) and the Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order now for £42.99 (€54.99, $54.99). Both are available on the Steam online store. The Deluxe Edition includes the Planet Zoo game plus bonus content, including:

  • Pre-launch Beta access.
  • Three exclusive animals.
  • High-quality wallpapers.
  • Original Soundtrack by Jim Guthrie and JJ Ipsen.

Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can join the Beta later this year, and add the Komodo Dragon, Pygmy Hippopotamus, and Thomson’s Gazelle to their zoos at launch.
