Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has revealed a new trailer showing Yugi Muto’s fighting abilities in the upcoming action-fighting game Jump Force. He will fight using his iconic and fan favourite cards; Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and the all-mighty Slifer the Sky Dragon.
While possibly being the most unassuming Jump Force fighter, Yugi Muto becomes a force to be reckoned with when summoning his iconic Duel Monsters cards into battle. He will be able to summon them to directly fight for him or use Spell card and Trap cards to turn the tide of the battle.
This is pretty interesting as I myself couldn’t underse ridiculously tand how Yugi could contend with the likes of Goku, Naruto, Gon to name but a few. There is a strange ability that Yugi has that makes no sense though and it’s the fact that he can move at super speeds to continue combos against his opponents. Also, there is a sense of disappointment that neither Kuriboh or the ridiculously legendary Exodia the Forbidden One are featured in Yugi’s arsenal.
Also, revealed today is the Golden Gate Bridge stage that will let players battle on top of the iconic San Francisco Bay landmark, which has been transformed by the appearance of The Valley of the End’s statues from the Naruto universe.
Jump Force will be available in February 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned with GamEir for more information as well as further roster announcements.
