Following their journey through the Ultra Wormhole, our heroes return to the Pokémon School, where Lillie thanks everyone for their help saving her mother. Later, during a walk on the beach, Professor Kukui asks Professor Burnet to marry him! They aren’t planning a wedding ceremony, but our heroes have other ideas…a surprise ceremony awaits! Then, Lusamine asks the Pokémon School class to join the Ultra Guardians—a group that protects Alola from Ultra Beasts. And just after the bouquet toss, Solgaleo appears! Thinking back to all the incredible memories I’ve had growing up with the franchise has been something fantastic and I know I’m not the only one. I remember when I first saw the anime show up on my television and I remember receiving my Gameboy Colour with Pokémon Silver to start my leg of the journey as a Pokémon Trainer.

As a final send-off before tomorrow’s milestone episode let’s take a look at the iconic theme song that started it all 20 years ago.
