Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have revealed a new Mortal Kombat 11 signature Sub-Zero themed character skin inspired by international DJ and actor Dimitri Vegas.
Featuring Vegas’ likeness and incorporating updated voiceover work from the artist, the upcoming “Dimitri Vegas as Sub-Zero” character skin will be available as a free download for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners on the 22nd of August.
Not his first fatality in Mortal Kombat 11
Previously, Vegas partnered with the MK11 team to remix the iconic Mortal Kombat theme song, a cultural staple of the Mortal Kombat franchise since the 1995 film.
The remix was prominently showcased in the MK11 Launch Trailer, released this past April. He also created an original music track titled “You’re Next,” which was featured in the first MK11 Gameplay Reveal Trailer back in January.
I’ve enjoyed MK11 and though this latest skin will ultimately give us nothing new or interesting I’m excited to see where this upcoming Kombat Pack is going to go. After all, we have Shang Tsung (avail. now), Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn and two fighters to be announced at a later date. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack also includes numerous skin and gear sets and one-week early access for all content.
