Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder, the roguelike tactical auto-battler where commanders build their squad of puny humans into a legion of wizards, ninjas, and dozens of other heroes while leading them through a strange post-apocalyptic labyrinth from developer Konfa Games and publisher tinyBuild, unleashes chaotic fighters on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games on the 15th of September.

Despot’s Game’s 1.0 version introduces a reworking of enemies, mutations, new quests, mechanics, an expanded soundtrack, and the all-new Massacre mode for a more classic auto-battler gameplay with quick, back-to-back multiplayer matches.

Players can march onward with a platoon of tiny pink dudes eager to escape the comically deranged labyrinths of Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder. You can amass soldiers as you progress down a twisted route. Which is infested with zombies, mechas, the mighty Cerberus, and many other weird opponents. Purchase ridiculous new weapons to equip friendly units, mutations to add special buffs and abilities, and keep them well fed to further aid the brigade on the way to freedom.

With a charmingly bizarre aesthetic and old-school pixelated graphics Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder looks like a lot of fun. If you’re a fan of army building with a rogue-lite twist stay tuned.
