Gun Media, publisher of Friday the 13th: The Game, and Bloober Team, the critically acclaimed developer of the cyberpunk-horror game Observer, has announced that Layers of Fear 2 the follow up to the psychological horror title Layers of Fear will be released in May.
The cast is led by award-winning horror icon Tony Todd, and it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on May 28th.
Watching the trailer definitely adds that sense of dread and powerlessness. From the choices in colour and the switch to black and white everything about Layers of Fear 2 screams an eerie atmosphere.
This is all compounded by the legendary Tony Todd. Most people will know him from his iconic role in the film Candyman. He was also Kurn brother to Star Trek: The Next Generation hero Worf. Most recently though he was the voice of Zoom the terrifying second season villain in The Flash series. Easily one of my favourite roles of his (I’m a big fan of The Flash).
