Get-A-Grip Chip, the charming and satisfyingly challenging grappling hook 2D platformer from Redstart Interactive, propels past pitfalls and pointy perils to land on Nintendo Switch Thursday, March 25th with new unlockable skins. All new content will come to PC via an update on that same day.
The story of Chip in Get-A-Grip Chip
After a catastrophic factory accident, Chip plummets to the bowels of ROBOCO, a Battery Bot manufacturer. Chip can’t jump, but its head-mounted magnetic hook makes ascension a breeze. Fling through five themed factory floors by swinging over obstacles like rotating chainsaws, explosive traps, and much more.
Save the Battery Bots hidden throughout each level to progress and unlock eight new skins, ranging from a solid gold chassis to vicious vampire costume. Master all 30 levels and make Chip the best-looking bot it can be.
I have to say, Chip is adorable as hell. Add to that a score that is best described as cuddly and well you’re in for a treat. Plus the gameplay looks like a lot of genuine platforming fun. Chip looks like quite the lad, ready to save his the Battery Bots.
