JRPG fans in the West get excited. The Western release date for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero has been announced. On the 30th of September (my birthday month), fans will finally get to traverse the city of Crossbell as Lloyd Bannings and the gang. This will be the first of two parts of the Crossbell Arc that will now be released fully translated in the West.
Having been introduced to the Trails franchise with the Trails of Cold Steel which overlaps with The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero timeline I can’t wait to pick this title up. It’s going to be a wild ride for fans of the Trails franchise. Several other titles will be released in the West all the way through 2022 to 2023.
The Trails franchise is one of the best JRPG franchises out there. The combat system is great, the characters memorable and the stories fantastical. Also, the graphics are charming as hell.
I would recommend this franchise to any hardcore JRPG fans. It is filled to the brim with sidequests and characters that are brimming with life. Also, be sure and check out the official website if you want to pre-order the game ahead of its release.
