Taking a break from the norm but still all about that Irish connection, The Japanese Popstars have returned tothe global stage.

The Japanese Popstars are a Northern Irish Duo that for years has been lighting up the worldwide stage with their House inspired tracks. You couldn’t go anywhere near a dance festival without the words Japanese Popstars being mentioned.

From Dublin to New York to Japan, The Japanese Popstars has done it all, including live on stage with Kasabian during the MTV Music Awards in 2011.

Their second studio album ‘Controlling Your Allegiance’ which featured guest vocals from Robert Smith (The Cure), James Vincent McMorrow, Green Velvet, Lisa Hannigan, Tom Smith (Editors), Dot JR, Morgan Kibby (M83) and Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion). In 2014 they were heard on the famous 2014 Fifa Video Game with arguably their most famous and best track ‘Let Go’

After a number of years on hiatus travelling the world, the Japanese Popstars went back to their routes and the recording studio. Now on the 24th of November in Club M in Temple Bar, Dublin, they are back. With a 90 minute DJ set of what they do best. This is officially the Japanese Popstars Comeback gig and along with special guests ‘Cafolla and Engel’ this event is one that any fan of dance music of any kind will want to miss.

Tickets start from €26.00 and are available at www.universe.com. There is also a VIP package which includes a VIP Meet and Great, VIP area overlooking the gig and a ‘Large’ Selection of Drinks. Doors will open at 7.30pm until the wee hours of the morning.
