Notorious Studios has announced their brand-new game Legacy: Steel & Sorcery, will be available to everyone as an early free Alpha demo at Steam Next Fest from now until the 21st of October.
Originally the name of the developers’ World of Warcraft guild 17 years ago, they have now taken their name to new heights with the founding of Notorious Studios. Establishing their first new IP, Notorious brings true gaming pedigree and engaging fantasy action-combat to a core-class fantasy multiplayer epic.
“Our goal was to build upon the foundations of RPG and MMO PvP into its own title, something we haven’t quite seen before. We incorporated many of the lessons and learnings from building one of the biggest MMOs of all time (World of Warcraft) into Legacy. Based on feedback we’ve had from players already, I think we have something special here and we can’t wait to share it with more and more players,” said Chris Kaleiki, Founder and CEO of Notorious Studios.
The Story of Legacy: Steel & Sorcery
Set within the realm of Mithrigarde, this lush world is now enveloped in a mysterious fog and only brave heroes can venture forth and claim the lost treasures of a fantasy world gripped by ancient evil.
Players of Legacy: Steel & Sorcery can choose from a range of traditional fantasy classes. Then they can strike out into a world torn apart by war. Plunge axes into the skulls of goblins, shoot spells at enormous ogres and fight against hordes of monsters to reclaim the riches of this forgotten land.
However, it’s not just fantastical creatures standing in their way. Other heroes will be standing between them and glory. Players will be forced to grab what they can and battle their way to the safety of Stonehaven. Here players can stock up on supplies, upgrade their lodgings and relax with others before embarking on their next adventure.
