More news coming in from Gamescom 2019. This time it’s from Ubisoft. Showcasing some of their upcoming titles including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Trials Rising, Anno 1800, and The Settlers.

Be the hunter or become the hunted in Ghost War, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint PVP Mode

During the Inside Xbox livestream at Gamescom 2019, Ubisoft fully unveiled Ghost War, the PvP mode for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Ghost War is an intense 4v4 experience built upon the tactical squad play from the Ghost Recon series, where strategy and teamwork are just as important as skill. At launch, players will be able to choose from four available classes including Assault, Panther, Sharpshooter and Medic, each fulfilling specific roles on the battlefield as they engage with enemies in open environments across 6 unique maps. Ghost War will be available for all players at the launch of the game on October 4th.

Players who want to get access to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, including Ghost War, can sign up for the Beta taking place from September 5th to 8th on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC. Players who pre-order any edition of the game will gain access to the beta.

Trials Rising crashing & sunburn expansion releases on September 10th

Trials Rising is back with its second expansion, Trials Rising Crash & Sunburn, which will release on September 10th.

Crash & Sunburn brings players on a journey below the equator to traverse the Amazon rainforest, admire Inca ruins, experience a safari and discover Antarctica, with 37 new tracks set across South America, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica.

New features include the versatile Jungle Explorer outfit, perfect for any adventure in the Southern Hemisphere, and two new fun bikes designed to put players to the test: The Turtle and The Alpaca. The Turtle features a roll bar that will both protect the rider in any circumstance and gives riders a new way to ride. The Alpaca challenges players to completely rethink handling the bike with the shocking twist of front-wheel drive.

Play Anno 1800 for free this week!

Ubisoft announced that Anno 1800, the latest installment from the successful city-building and strategic franchise, will be free to play in honour of Gamescom 2019 on Windows PC.

Until August 26th, players will be able to discover the award-winning game and get a first glimpse at the upcoming day & night cycle free update, releasing on September 10th for all players.

In addition, Ubisoft announced that the second DLC of the game, Botanica, will also release on September 10th.

The Settlers will release on PC in 2020

Ubisoft announced that The Settlers will release on PC in 2020 and revealed more details about the Glory winning strategy, as well as brand new gameplay features.

Led by Volker Wertich, the original creator of the franchise, and developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, the latest version of The Settlers brings back the best, modernized elements from previous The Settlers titles, combining them with brand new features and gameplay systems.

The Settlers is available for pre-order now on Uplay PC via Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store and will be available on Uplay+, Ubisoft’s subscription service. More details on Uplay+ can be found on

How did Ubisoft do at Gamescom 2019?

I have to be honest. None of these titles interest me. I will say however each title has a focused fanbase that I’m sure are excited to see them come out. The exciting thing though is Gamescom this year has been quite enjoyable 🙂
