Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls unveiled their penultimate team during Sony’s State of Play on Tuesday night. Arc System Works used the highly watched moment to showcase three brand new characters in the upcoming fighting game.
Led by Doctor Doom, the “Knights of Doom” are an all-star team of villains entering “The Challenge of the Champion”. This group consists of the infamous X-Men big bad, Magento, Spiderman’s high-flying nemesis, Green Goblin, and the always vicious and maniacal red symbiote Carnage.
Up until this point, Marvel Tokon has featured only heroes across the board. This injection of antagonists is a welcome and exciting addition to the roster of fighters. Whether you decide to run the Knights of Doom as a team or draft your favourites to create your own custom build to take the grand prize, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is offering a varied cast of characters to pick up and enjoy as you battle your way to victory.
With only one final team remaining that has been confirmed to be led by Robbie ‘Ghost Rider’ Reyes. It’s time to place your bets on which character will be filling the final three spots as the Midnight Sun sets upon the August 6th release date.
(I have been asked by my son to include his personal picks in this article. These include Deadpool, Blade and Scarlet Witch for the final team and… I’m on board with this, too, not going to lie.)
