Pirates get ready! One Piece Odyssey, a new RPG with turned-based combat set in the One Piece universe, with an original story and new characters is coming! It has also been developed under the guiding hand of creator Eiichiro Oda.

The game is coming as the original manga prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary. It promises to deliver an authentic and immersive new entry rooted in canon. Which I can’t believe they’re doing. It’s a daunting task to introduce new canon into such a dense story.  With Oda-Sensei’s involvement, it is sure to retain that signature charm and humour. Not only that the original Japanese VO actors will be in attendance. One Piece Odyssey is set to release later in the year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

One Piece Odyssey is a brand-new RPG transporting players in the fantastical world of One Piece.

Off on a new adventure

During their journey, the Straw Hats headed by the legendary Monkey D. Luffy are swallowed by a huge storm at sea and end up on a mysterious island full of nature amidst the storm. Separated from each other and with the Thousand Sunny completely broken they are in a lot of trouble.

The crew set outs on a new adventurous journey filled with wonders of a raging nature, powerful enemies, and strange encounters with the island locals. Players will have to work together with Luffy and the members of his crew to set sail once again!

Adio, a new original character of the game, and the monsters that inhabit the game world were designed with the cooperation of Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece. Will Adio have a Devil Fruit? Will it be terrifying, ridiculous or overpowered? And why isn’t Jimbei a part of the crew!? All these questions and more will hopefully be answered.
