Another Day, Another Remaster

Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Us Part Two, Days Gone, Horizon: Zero Dawn. Essential PS4 titles that have been remastered for the PS5 and now Days Gone, the open-world biker zombie game comes to the current generation with some new bells and whistles. Announced at Playstation’s newest State of Play, this remaster will feature new horde modes, an improved photo mode. There will also be better accessibility options and for the real sickos out there, a permadeath run option.

The benefits of the PS5 hardware include improved visuals, enchanced audio and haptic feedback from the Dualsense controller for added immersion. The incredible size of the zombie hordes was always Days Gone’s most compelling feature so the promise of even larger gaggles of the undead on newer hardware is very exciting.

Days Gone Remastered launches as a digital exclusive on April 25th this year. Owners of the original PS4 title can avail of a paid upgrade to this newer version. Owners of the PC version can buy these new features as a “Broken Road” DLC package. Preorders on PS5 will give players new avatars and early in-game unlocks to make your time in zombie-infested America a bit easier to get started with.
