I will try to stay calm here, but friends, I am not calm. By now, everyone knows how much I completely adore Camel 101. I’ve loved these developers since the demo for Those Who Remain. And now, I get to tell everyone that they have a new game coming out! Camel 101 have officially announced Beneath.
Beneath is a first-person action-horror adventure, taking players to new depths. We’ll get to play as Noah Quinn, a veteran deep-see diver. However, this underwater world is treacherous, filled with more terror than he could have imagined. Noah will have weapons and wit, but that may not be enough. His sanity is teetering on the edge of collapse, and his only hope is to avoid succumbing to the madness.
Beneath will implement resource management, and ammo will be hard to come by. However, bullets will not always be the solution. Although even with the heads up, we’ll probably all go in guns ablaze at first. Well, I will anyways. I like the chaos. Thanks to a deep-sea diving suit, exploration won’t be limited to just the underwater stations. Of course, this will (hopefully) pose its own danger.
There aren’t enough words to describe how excited I already am for this game. At the moment, Beneath is set for a 2024 release on PC, Xbox Series, and PS5. I cannot wait to see more of what Camel 101 have to offer.
