Ghost of Tsushima release date announced

Finally, Sucker Punch has put us all out of our misery and announced the release date for their up and coming Playstation exclusive samurai epic, Ghost of Tsushima. Not only did they announce the release date (June 26th) but we also got a new story-based trailer and a look at the three different editions for pre-order.

The new trailer showcases the games hero, Jin Sakai. We catch glimpses of several of Jin’s allies and enemies and two, in particular, Jin’s uncle, Shimura, the jito of Tsushima. According to Sucker Punch, Shimura is the father figure of Jin and trained him since his childhood in the ways of the samurai. The other character highlighted is Khotun Khan, the Khan of the invading Mongol army and the main adversary of our hero.
