Warhammer Underworlds: Online, the high-stakes, turn-based strategy combat game that pits mighty warriors from the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe against one another has changed its pricing model. The game will now have a new base price of $9.99 USD / £7.99 / €8.99.

All future purchases of Warhammer Underworlds: Online will include two base warbands, Steelheart’s Champions and Magore’s Fiends, as the starter warbands. Former base warbands, Sepulchral Guard, Ironskull’s Boyz, The Farstriders, and Spiteclaw’s Swarm will become paid DLC warbands joining Thorns of the Briar Queen, Eyes of the Nine, The Chosen Axes, and a new release, Stormsire’s Cursebreakers.

The Stormsire’s Cursebreakers enter Warhammer Underworlds: Online

Stormsire’s Cursebreakers become the tenth warband to enter the fray. This warband is a group of powerful battle-mages with mastery over howling storm magic. They are an elite warband that use special spell cards to take control of the battlefield.

“Changing the business model of the game now lowers the entry price for new players,” said Creative Director, Neil Rennison. “With eight DLC warbands to choose from, new players will be able to purchase specific teams that they like the look of or offer them a particular play style. We have more warbands in development too so it’s never been a better time to join the community!”

Warhammer Underworlds: Online is now priced at $9.99 USD / £7.99 / €8.99 and is available on Steam for PC. It is also available on Humble and Fanatical.

The two-player online game is available to play in English, Russian, French, Italian, German and Spanish. New content is distributed in two ways:

  • All players will receive continuous, FREE universal card releases at regular intervals.
  • Warband DLC expansions along with their warband-specific cards are available for $6.99 USD.
  • Future game updates will incorporate rules changes. New board layouts and visual changes to match newly introduced warbands from Nightvault, Beastgrave and Direchasm.

Warhammer Underworlds: Online players are invited to join the official WUO Discord server where they can offer feedback on the game.
