A physical boxed special edition of the first-person horror game Yuoni has been announced for PlayStation 5. The game, developed by Tricore Inc and published by Chorus Worldwide, will release through Meridiem Games. This edition, dubbed ‘Sunset Edition’, is set to launch across Europe in December. It includes a specially designed box. In addition to this, it will also include a set of postcards illustrating some of the terrifying artwork from the game.
Yuoni is set in 1990s Japan, and Ai is a grade-schooler about to learn just how isolated she really is. However, the world is made of never-ending dusk, Ai is hunted by truly otherworldly entities. Above all, her life hanging in the balance, and she is forced to play children’s games. However, these horrors begin to bleed over into the real world. After that, Ai must accept that she only has three choices: run, hide or die.
