InXile Entertainment has announced that The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut is now available through the Xbox Game Pass, the PlayStation Store and other digital platforms such as Steam and GOG for Windows, Mac, and Linux is available.

The retail versions for PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One device family, including the Xbox One X, are also on sale in Europe and will be released on October 4th in North America.

The game is packed with new features, enhancements, and content for the original game. This includes an update of the used Unreal Engine, which not only improves the sound and graphics, but also the handling.

The Director’s Cut is based on the feedback inXile received after the release of the original game. Owners of the PC version receive the update to the Director’s Cut as a free download.

New Features in The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut:

· A new chapter in the Endgame adds several hours of content to the game
· New enemies, items, and weapons, including Dwarf Forge masterpieces
· Myriad corrections and enhancements
· Enhanced and enhanced user interface
· New character editor options
· Optimized fights
· Additional difficulty settings
· Gamepad support for all platforms

Each version of the game includes additional in-game items. The Deluxe Edition for PC also features a variety of artwork, music and the original (and remastered) The Bard’s Tale trilogy.
